Fluorend is a trading name of dafren Ltd (company no. 16593568), 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. dafren Ltd is the data controller for information you send us. Contact: hello@fluorend.com.
The details you enter in our enquiry form: your name, company, email, phone, site postcode, details of your waste, any documents you upload (e.g. safety data sheets or analysis), and how you heard about us. If you use the website assistant (the "Ask Fluorend" chat), we receive what you type, including any contact or waste details you give it.
To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you go ahead, arrange collection and destruction of your waste. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in running the business, and, once you go ahead, compliance with our legal obligations (for example, waste duty-of-care and hazardous waste record-keeping).
The "Ask Fluorend" chat is an automated AI assistant, not a person. Your messages are processed by an AI model run by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, to generate replies, and are not used to train AI models. The conversation is kept in your browser for that session only. If you ask us to follow up, the assistant sends your details and a transcript of the conversation to our team by email, and we treat them like an enquiry form submission. Its answers are general information only; we confirm everything in writing.
Only what's needed to quote and carry out the job: the destination destruction facility, the waste carrier that collects it, and our IT, hosting, AI and email providers. Where the law requires it, we share information with regulators such as the Environment Agency. We don't sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 2 years. Records for jobs we carry out: as long as waste legislation requires (at least 3 years for hazardous waste records) and for accounting purposes (up to 6 years).
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict our use of it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact us first and we'll try to help.
